alloy rack clamps?

seen some on e bay ages ago, any one know where i can buy then from?

cos when ibut my foot down the car goes to the right and when i take foot off it dives to the left, so had a look about and the rubbers that go round the rack under the clamps are fubar'd and the rack is just slipping in them so thought it would be a good time to upgrade

Good quality too, he must put them on eBay now aswell, I've seen them a few times on there.

ill bet you ?5 that ally rack mouts dont fix that problem

Yeah sounds pretty dodgy actually, not like rack mounts anyway!

My old Nova did that when the inner wing split away from the front panel, just before it snapped the tie bar!

well the full front end is seam welded and only past its mot a month ago and you can see the rack moving in the rubbers

Have you checked the engine mounts aint loose and letting the gearbox/shafts etc move all over the place?
