ok, who here has upgraded to a 2litre from a sr or gsi etc.. if so wot does it feel like in comparison, yea yea i know 'alot quicker!' but tell me bout accelration like when u change down a gear to over take like from 5th to 3rd or wotever, cause in my sri its quite nippy casue the rev counter flys up and its runin on cam, but i can imagine in a 2litre it must be devastatinly fast
tell me tell me!!
and if uve over taken or chased a mate who u couldnt previously beaten etc.....

Well pleased with mine. F16 close ratio gearbox is mad, and the carbs give it soooooooooo much torque.

Well Good :D

billy :( - yeah sure.....things get fucked up.....but you,ve just gotta replace them with uprated/upgraded items. That way, you'll have a better setup.

....and a new 1.8 16v astra cost how much????

in short - you get what you pay for.
you build it from cheap and nasty, and it will prove to be cheap and nasty when its done... look how long it took skoda to figure that one out. :D

the name is misleading - because i am not called wisewood.

Doesn't have to be the most exspensive stuff to be the best, often diy parts are as good, if not better than bought parts. depends on your skill. Like ste said, do the conversion cheaply, then upgrade parts as needed or when u can afford it.

like ste said, as soon as he went flying past my car and I was flat out doing about 125-130mph, I knew that my calling in life was to own a nice 2.0 16v, but now I have discovered the MR2 GT Turbo and I feel that my calling has changed once again!!!! :)

2.0 16v Nova wanted! ASAP :)
