Astra GTE engine into nova

I was wondering, as i can get my hands on a 2.0 8v Astra GTE engine, what shafts and mounts to use, would i be correct in thinking its pretty much the same as an XE conversion? If anybody has any parts for this conversion please pm me.:thumb:

Not old school enough for me, have thought about it though, another couple of questions, can i fit f28 to it? And i had a quick look but do xe exhuast manifolds fit? Only i cant seem to find any for the engine, thanka!

No XE manifold wont fit as its for a 16v head.

You could fit a f28, with clutch/fly change, but its a lot of work for nothing?

shame its not the cavalier sri130 c20seh as these were 130 bhp standard,and 8v parts are half the price of xe bits.lol
