on the amp under the speaker connections it will tell you where to place the wire for it to be bridged.

you can either place 2 wires on the plus, and run each to the plus on the subs and the same with the negatives.

or you can run it with one sub running the bridged mode and the other sub running the left over speaker connectionc.. (not advised though)

or another way is to simply run left + and - to one sub and r+ and - to the other sub.

sorry about the picture, but it gives you an ida of how its set up at the minute.
both subs are running off the same channel as you can see.

to be perfectly honest it wont make too much of a difference with the equipment you are using

assuming you've run your fused power cable from the battery to the boot and bolted down your earth wire somewhere in the boot and run your remote wire which is normally blue from the back of your head unit along with your phono/rca's lead to the boot, the actual wiring bit is easy.

Red Power goes to +power on amp
Black earth goes to -ground/negative on amp
blue remote goes to remote on amp
then run 2 channels on your amp for the subs

+ channel 1
- channel 1

+ channel 2
_ channel 2

set your amp to half on the gain control and switch it to LPF (low pass filter)

hope its some help

thats great dave, but at the minute, the subs are bridged up,and the 6x9's are running a channel each off the amp.
is this no good ?

Alpine Owners Manual for F340 (http://www.restricted.alpine-electronics.co.uk/support/ownersdatabase/MRV-F340/OM_MRV-F340,EN,FR,ES_MA.pdf) - have a look if you haven't already. I don't think you'll be able to run the 6x9s AND the subs off the one amp and still put out decent power. I'd suggest putting the 6x9s direct off the head unit, if you have the capacity, with the amp bridged to the two subs; or using that amp to power your tweeters/mids and get another amp to power the subs.
