Digidash into Nova TD

Has anyone ever installed an Astra Digital Dash into a Nova TD before? I have tried using the guide from the perpetualbliss website but have come across a few problems. Everything works properly apart from the speedo and the rev counter. The speedo does not work at all and the rev counter shows 4000 revs at idle and then begins to flash when the revs increase! Any help would be much appreciated. ps I have the dash with the blip on the rev counter(8v i think).

erm you dont have a coil to derive rpm from !! lol

fit an optical chopper to the crank shaft and then it will work :)

fit all the wireing + all the alternator and acosiated crap from a cav/vectra/astra 1.7td and u might be able to cobble sumthing together

beware my 1.7td alternator cost me ?180 for a recon one!

worst price i encounterd was over ?400 (halfords)

i didnt dare try a main dealers
