Jammed Window

As the title says and its a pain in the jacksey.
Its the drivers side, am i right in thinkin it just needs some sort of greasing or have i gotta adjust the thing?
I havent actually had time to take the door card out to check it out so give us ur thoughts on what it could be now!

I had that problem with mine, it ended up being the ball joint thingy that moves the window up and down (nice and technical that eh!). I just gave it all a spray with WD 40 and its worked fine since then

if the handle turns and the glass wont move u need to pop the ball joint back in, if its just very stiff u need some vynal spray grease from halfords!!

if the handle doesnt turn try some halfords rubber lubricant spray all the way up the window seal.

when i turn the handle, the window moves very very slightly, then to get it to go any further you have to physically put both hands on the top of the pane and pull it down!
So its 90% certain its the ball joint then?
Its weird coz in rain it opens normally!

does the handle turn freely or does it stop when the window stops? just have a look at the ball joint it only takes a couple of minutes.

then its most likely to be a lubrication problem I would say. Get some of the halfords lube spray first. This is a very common problem with novas but is easily fixed. If it is not that then check the ball and socket joint.
