haha i think if i was driving the rover i would also be aiming for that jap crap i hate them!
The bloke from the rover was in the pits crying next to his car. These things do happen on track days but dont be put of by it.
what happens about repairing the damage then when somthing like that happens? is it just a case of repair your own?
usually the way it goes.Thats why mine is on a trailer so can winch it back on and sort out once home.
Also if you after any advice or help on track days just put a post up and you get a lot of feed back.
yeah did my first one last saturday was fapping awsome loved every minute. thinking of doing an evening session at donington next month.
Im 99% sure thats my mates car. It's running a K20 something, DC5 type-R engine, 225bhp. I'll just find out some more
I felt really sorry of the lad who owned the Civic, it was a lovely little car before the Rover hit it.
plus he had nothing to do with the incident.
Looks like I missed a goodun there.
Obviously, I feel very sorry for the Civic driver, but that illustrates perfectly the kind of thing you need to watch out for on days like this. Ideally, Mr Civic should have backed right off there when he saw the rover go onto the grass, but thats easy to say from a bystanders point of view.
Hope it doesnt put him off trackdays.
Hi lee what did you think of mine and Dars little battle. all three corners or so of it lol.
Im surprised how slowly you pulled away from the lardy old bimmer TBH!
Looked fun, im jealous... and extremely hung over lol
well i thought i did ok as the bm was a 2.8 24v straight 6. It's about 220bhp as it my mate and the first time out in my car plus Carla was in the car and had never been on track before so though i would behave a bit.

lol, quit being defensive, i was only playing! lol
i was well chuffed with it. I even got a pic on the combe forum site with some nice words to.

why do people have this view of jap cars? When it comes down to it, they are far better then a Nova

I don't know mate. I also find it wierd. Some people like to keep to one make and ignore all others. Or just choose to hate one make. Odd really but then it makes no difference in the great scheme of things.
BT hates Pugs for some strange and odd reason. But he has many odd habits.

Yeah true i suppose, a good freind of mine has an EK series Civic (same model as that smashed silver one) and its such a nice handling car, and has so much more power and comfort over any similiar sized engine vauxhall ive driven. It must be jealousy
As for pugs, there fapping ace to drive! well most of the arm/hot hatch variants

You keep telling yourself that lol
Ive got a reputation to upkeep ok? I irrationally hate french cars, for no particular reason. Its my choice.
And your gay if you own one lol
I sold my clio rsi i use to have as it fell apart each month bloody thing never liked them since.

I guess if you liked Pugs (and or owned one) that would make you a double big gay bear:eek: You keep up you irrational fear of them, I don't think the forum could acually handle it, plus you and Stu would probably have to start up the PNGG to temper your ultra gay hormones.
so we have gone from crash at combe to gay pug drivers in only 4 page's sweet.

Bad crash, you can see him try and swerve away before it hits. Watching those couple of vids makes me wanna do a track day soon though.

I just turned up to castle combe and the first thing I saw was that crash I really feel sorry of that civic! It looked clean and tidy from that pic! That?s one reason why that puts me off track days, you just don?t know what other people are going to do!

i feel sorry for the lad in the civic as it was a nice car. glad they cleared the cars quick as it was very hot on the start grid
sweet back on topic cheers chris.
It was hot in the car waiting for them to clear that crash. It was also amusing trying to have a look at what they where doing whilst being strapped in the passenger seat of Chris's car. Chris is a big bloke and not very easy to see throughlol
he does make a very good door tho lol.
