^ Because the VX is pretty much the same car, but considerably cheaper, and arguably better. Oh, and looks nicer IMO!

Unfortunately, the police can't touch him - there was a guy from Burnham on Sea who videoed himself during a journey on his motorbike at crazy speeds, but videoed the entire journey - including leaving and going back to his house lol

Police had a word with him but couldn't do nowt about it as they couldn't prove it was him riding the bike. In the same vein, unless the picture of the speedo shows THAT guy driving the car and they can identify the road and location etc, the worst they can do is caution him. Plus, as Stuart said when this was mentioned in another thread, its a digital image so could have been doctored. Definitely wouldn't hold up in court!

I've never been a fan of the Elise's looks, just appears that someone left it too close to the radiator and it melted a bit. The VX is more "in-keeping" with the modern style of cars, chunky

You dont look a tool actually if your a short @rse like me :thumb: I found it well easy to get and out of an Elise tbh. And it was really nice to drive actually, just a bit iffy to reverse park :tard:

Yeah but i've driven one, just about and hated the driving postion! I don't like the pedals as they are, i.e. FLOTTING!, on the VX the bonnet release is hidden! GHEY!

The original elises had suspension mods done because insurance companies wanted them to have a bit of understeer so hot hatch drivers trading up wouldn't crash them. My mate worked at Jonathon Palmers promosport & they actually had to upgrade them so they would handle.
Anyway its easy to make a speedometer read really high, you jack the car up & rev it up in top.
BUT the bloke was a pillock & the SUN do have double standards to maintain.
