Not been on for a while (uni) but time has come to break up the old Nova i've put so much time and effort into over the last 5 years.
Its shell is just too rusty to get through its next MOT.

Anyway the engine is a solid one (around 3000 miles) and those of you that were around in 2005 might remember the post where i showed the build stages (i'll try dig it out).

It's been tuned on a rolling road and develops 130Bhp @ 6000rpm, not sure of torque but it has oodles at low revs. (Have roller's report to prove).
Its had an omex rev limiter set at 6200rpm its whole life and has never been ragged silly.

/-1.6 8v GTE engine block with 1mm overbore (1627cc iirc), ARP Rod Bolts, Brand new pistons, rings 3000 miles ago. Fully rebuilt by myself. ?200 of work done on it (have invoice to prove)

/-Dellorto DHLA Twin 40's, very good condition, were fully reconditioned when i put them on, with 32mm chokes (+spare set of 30mm chokes), 40mm trumpets, have MISAB or the other type of spacers, with 1.6/1.4sri round port style inlet manifold, alternator lowering bracket and extended alternator tensioner bracket & alternator belt, FuelKing adjustable fuel pressure regulator and piping, throttle cable.

Setup for a high 1.6 but with those spare chokes all you need is to change a few jets etc to fit smaller engine.

/-B+ equivalent E16SE cylinder head, fully ported and gas flowed, large oversized inlet (39mm) and exhaust (33mm) valves, faced, plus Kent Cam valve springs, egr port sealed off, work on head cost ?500, done at Cylinder Head Developments (have the invoice).

/-Kent ast2 camshaft (bought as a kit), i've had it from new and has done about 3000 miles in the 1.6, and 6000 miles in my old 1.3sr. With kent cam followers and manual and optional cam housing.
