An ST205. Oh wait lol

Actually, I'd also be looking at a 106 rallye. Delta would be nice, but I don't fancy having to fix it every other week lol

I want a Camaro SS too, they're ace but you're looking at ?15k+ for a good 'un. Z28's are cheaper, but poop lol Challengers and 'cudas are nice too, but equally expensive :(

Id still have one tho, and there not as un-reliable as you think :thumb: but they cost the earth to repair and rust quicker then any Nova lol oh and it takes upto 6 months for parts to arrive in the UK :thumb:

Ahhh, damnit thats the one I wanted as well lol

When you get one I'll have to come take a good nose round it :D

As for Saxo's, I don't like them because they're just too small for me. If I could fit in one, and they didn't have the chav reputation I might be a little more interested - can't deny the VTS is a pocket rocket, and they're pretty well equipped, cheap to buy etc - but *IF* I wanted another small hatchback (I'm a coup? man now), the only things I'd really consider would be a Pulsar if I had lots of money to keep it going and didn't care about it looking butt ugly; A Glanza Turbo, maybe Starlet; or a GTi-6 in Astor or Black - one of the few non-jap cars I'd seriously consider buying. But it would need the cambelt done before I had it - they seem to have a habit of snapping and eating engines :thumb:

the vw campers are quite cool. I know someone who had one, didnt handle that badly to be honest, you could throw it around quite a bit, but the ride was very soft as standard.

Since i don't actually own a nova anymore, i suppose i have to say "if i didnt drive a nova i would drive..." my peugeot 306 D turbo, or my wifes renault clio DCi Dynamique.

Well considering that my novas are off the road and will be for the foreseeable future I have to say i'm really enjoying my Astra Coupe Turbo and the missus xe calibra altho the fuel bill is crippling (we both used to drive Novas before)

nah lol IIRC they create a fair whack of lag after about 320bhp. Saying that, been working on a LHD one today :)

Jack
19-06-07, 07:25 PM
Fat, yes, lardass, yes, but far from slow - 0-60 in 5.8 and 0-100 in 16 on the Mk1 285bhp jobbie... the Mk2 320bhp is faster :D

I have been in that car and by god is it fast!!! my old co driver friend from college now works with them and have built some really interesting cars including McRae's escort mk2. The ka has cosworth engine with about 320bhp and god knows what torque but lots and has a full sierra 4wd drive under its skin.

as for me i would love one of these

you a hairdresser?

only thing worth keeping out of them is the seats.

and maybe the brakes on that one ^^ but i doubt there standard:D

cheshiresport
19-06-07, 09:45 PM
You taking the piss? Its all standard

draper
19-06-07, 09:49 PM
standard ones handle pretty well so i bet that one sticks to the road

cheshiresport
19-06-07, 09:57 PM
It certainly handles well, they not the quickest of cars only having a 1.7 engine and 155bhp but so much fun and road presence.

Certainly turns more heads than my nova sport ever has, and im vauxhall through and through, i just enjoy having two limited edition cars

dave.gsi
19-06-07, 10:01 PM
they really standard brakes?

two things worth keeping then, seats and brakes.

is it true the wheels rub on the arches on full lock, ford noticed it but didnt bother fixing it? just a story i heard a while back

cheshiresport
19-06-07, 10:06 PM
Yep standard brakes apart from the colour (they should be blue as standard) Alcon calipers ?900 a pair, the seats are awesome but the alcantara on the drivers seat wears quite bad oh and on the steering wheel.

Ive never noticed the wheels catching on the arches at all. I must admit its an awesome car and i love driving it, even though everything is mega expensive to replace

As my Nova is in lots of pieces and unlikely to be put back together anytime soon this is what I drive on the odd ocasion I'm not in the works van.

http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r83/martynwebster/pvs07/pvs25.jpg

Still want another Cav Turbo though for some strange reason or an E34 BMW M5 would be nice (as well as the Vectra, that isn't going anywhere).
