My 1.4 with carbs was way quicker than a 16v cav throughout, and that didn't need a gas refill every 5 minutes.

lol, very true, but the same could be said for NOS, an proportional amount of extra fuel has to be injected in at the same time as the NOS.
The point being that for a similar initial outlay, you get 24hr permanent power but with Nos you have your fun for the short time a bottle lasts, then you go pay to have the gas filled up again, it aint always there. I reckon NOS is good, but only as an extra on top of exsisting mods, not instead of.

having driven a car with nos, i can agree wiv defector, its not worth doing it unless u have a highly tuned engine, and honestly u dont feel the change in speed as much as fast and furious shows, u dont go that much faster.

well i was watching fast and furios when i wrote that, and i thought nos on a nova would be quite wicked but some much work involved the vauxhall engines aint all that, there good enuff but i wudnt put nos on them just a curios question, it would be a good laugh tho to pull up next to a good car, (cant think of any lol brain has gone dead its 2 in da morn) and u actually pull away from him/her with your nos wicked
lol
