Gear Linkages

Just wondering where i can get the 2 rubber bushes that go in the S shaped gear linkage,

I think they are no longer stocked by Vauxhall. You will have to get some made.

scrap the linkage and use a corsa b linkage better bushes

sorry to hijack the thred phillthepill 389 ive got the same problem what parts do you need off the corsa b are the good with a f28 box

you need a full corsa b linkage including the center pin the plastic clip from ball to ball as the balls on the corsa S are bigger then a nova S works on any box that i know ov hope that helps its an easy mod just all clips together

Are you totally sure :tard: Ive tried a Corsa Linkage on my Nova, and needless to say, it did NOT fit. At all. Whatsovever.

well av been running one now for 6 month and most of my friends have them on there novas including a td its only a corsa b full compleat linkage that fit and you use none of the novas bar the selector

Is the linkage easily removed whilst the engine and box are still in the car?

I've got everything out so its easily accessible at the mo, the amount of play on my linkage is SHOCKING! :eek:

Everything is going back in tomorrow and I've tried local scrappies for a corsa b linkage but with no joy so I may aswell buy a quickshift later in the month :( Where can you get better joints and bushes for the linkages?

that is why i used a corsa b linkage because i couldnt get bushes etc for a nova one. so i went to scrap yard and took the linkage off a corsa b and because the bushes are nylon they hardly wear so really u dont need to change them but its best to get a low miler any way. yea i fitted my linkage in the car just got to wiggle abit but it will come off no problen u need to use the corsa gear box mount as well as it a little fatter were the S sits but again 3 bolts easy swop no hassel all bolts / clips together about 1hour job hope this help

Got my linkage off now, going to enquire about some rose joints and better bushes maybe copy off Dar's idea I saw a couple of months ago, that fails I'll get a Corsa one.

I've got solid mounts anyway so if I change to a Corsa linkage it should be ok, just need to find some rose joint suppliers now....... google here I come lol

hi everytime i try get second or forth it pops off witch part need replacing is it the knuckle join or the S shape?

but if u clip it back on works fine in 1st, 3rd, 5th
