Can I just check something about brakes......I'm going to have a look at a set of MKIII Cav SRi brake callipers tomorrow, that came off a K Plate with ABS.

Will these be ok for the big brake conversion, or is that fact that the car had ABS make any difference to their design?

Are these the same callipers as the commonly used Astra 16V ones? (I believe they are...just checking before I buy ;))

Yeah. I'm sure they are. Got my brakes froman L reg calibra.

Good...I'll go and have a look then....only ?25 for the pair too :)
He's got disks too but I don't trust second hand disks....worth looking at though.
