to save hassle and insurance i just got the 8v.
so it'll definatly fit straight in no worries and i dont have to worry about gearbox etc etc...
lmao no you need big block shafts, CV's, gearbox its exactly the same amount of work as fitting a 16v hence the comment.

haha. 8v's cos a lot less for a nice one though.
the 8v's fast enough for me though i guess. when ive swapped over all me bits - cams etc it should be running 155bhp - ish as its the 130 version - so the same as a 16v anyhoo :)
what other "bits" you fitting to it to mate it 155bhp?

edit - i said it in plural ive got other bits :) not good at grammar
rally cam (shrick or however its spelt) and pulley , full exhaust system inc. 4-2-1, induction kit, lightened flywheel, bored out inlet, ported and polished head im nabbing off a mate. should be running 150 - 155 i reckon using more expensive petrol and stuff too. is my optimistic calculations :)
bored out inlet?
wouldnt it be better yo match the inlet ports from the inlet manifold to the head and same with exhaust?
mikey14sr did it on his sr i think
