Right, i've got my 1.2 grey nova,

and i'm gettin a mint concorse stylee nova which i dont fancy driving every day specialy at the price i'm paying(thats another story for another day).

It will be garaged, but i stil wont it to be insure(See "the Roof is on fire" thread)

how do i go about insuring both cars, can i do it on the same policy?

anybody with two cars, both insured?

Cheers martin

Insurance forum is further down ;)

Do it on a classic policy. As you've got the two cars I'd assume you can afford to restrict the mileage on one, plus a classic policy doesn't use or earn any NCB leaving it free for your other nova :D

HIC can give you an online quote for a classic policy and cater for mods as well.

I've recently bought a 1977 Mercedes Benz with my old man which we insured through a classic policy for ?84 a year each. Definitely worth a try mate, especially if its garaged and on a limited mileage policy.

Fronting, nice; as said a classic policy will more than likely be cheaper and legit as well, bonus

Admiral do a 'multicar' policy. Two cars, one policy.

^ tried one of their policies and it was no different to having two separate insurance policies, in terms of cost anyway lol

Dunno what the limit on classic cars is, i think it varies from insurer to insurer. Some companies have a specific list of cars they consider "classics", suffice to say a Nova doesn't feature on them lol

I've got 2 cars insured with Adrian Flux, got my Diesel 106 as my daily driver then my Nova as a 2nd car on a limited milage policy. Get a few quotes then play one off against the other, to start with my 106 was gonna cost me ?340 tpft and the Nova was gonna be ?685 fc, ended up getting it down to ?180 for the 106 and ?472 for the Nova.

I'm 27, been driving for 10 years and got 10 years ncb (protected) they let me use my ncb on both cars as well for some reason, obviously gonna cost you a bit more but still worth getting afew quotes, also don't forget theres also MOTs and Tax on both cars !!
