well after a long on / off search for my 7th nova, i've bought this one. Had been on the look out for a G reg 1.3SR in red and nothing decent was coming up. Seen this and decided that it would be a good base for building a replica of my first nova. Some pictures collecting it and some close ups of where usually there should be some rust!!

IMO keep the mk1 rear bumper - the mk2 rear on your mk1 SR looks a little odd.

Nice find, it actually looks pretty mint, so is it 'just' having a 1300 fitted then? Got a low mileage 1300 if you havent already sourced one. :thumb:

small update...

Not much work been done to the nova. Its currently in storage and i'm slowly gathering the parts i need.

Exterior

- Mk1 SR front bumper
- Mk2 SR rear bumper
- SR grill
- Clear front indicators
- front and rear window surrounds
- rear wrap round spoiler
- Hella spotlights and covers

Interior

- Full MK1 Sr interior
- GTE rear cards
- GTE door tops
- MK2 parcel shelf supports
- rear arch carpets
- enough headrests to go either light or dark grey for front and rear
- electric window kit
- central locking kit
- Digital dash (although need wiring plugs)

- green glass set
- side mouldings

Engine wise, having done a lot of reading on all sorts of views, I'm planning on the 1.6 route, probably 16v. No rush to get the project finished so may even go down the turbo route. Time will tell!

If your looking for vinyal for the sides novacabrio was selling a set and duick was getting tailgate decals made up. Also get yourself signed up for club membership, the scottish region needs you lol and anyone else for that matter.

I think i have a set of Gte inside door handles(Grey) and a set of gte front door cards but some body hase put holes in them for speakers.
Make me an offer if interested and did the rear window surrounds get to you ok as they were a pig to rap up.

sorry, but going to be holding on to the sw spoiler for the moment as the car will be going standard sr. Whats the plans for yours?
