Insurance is up for renewal, gotthe renewal letter this morning. thought I'd use it as a benchmark for some of the competition and have been surprisedat the results so far.

Postcode = E
Age 24
Male
1L 91 Nova
Garaged
SDP
4K per anum

Admiral renewal ?xxx
NU Direct ?764
Swinton ?435
LV ?484
AA ?343

That's who I've checked with so far, Who next and what do you think, higher or lower?

Maybe I can get a gameshow out of it.

Have you tried HIC with a classic policy (assuming the 4k per annum is your mileage)? They quoted me with an XE in the saloon for ?450, 6k mileage :D

I shall give them a go Sir, your spot on with the 4K (you've seen Bristol traffic lol). So then what you think, higher or lower?

I reckon lower - I just had a quote on a 1.2i 4dr saloon at ?175 on a classic policy, again with 6K miles, so a 1.0 @ 4K should be around that :thumb:

HIC list threw up Chaucer Specialist at ?321.

I think I'm getting down to the postcode limit.

Specialist? Did it not list any classic policy options? I usually get 2x specialist and 2x classic, the latter is usually half the cost of the former

[edit] Actually, you're probably right about the postcode area limit - mine is area A. Dodgy place is Bristol lol

Your telling me, the pikey twunts went into a live substation about 2 weeks ago, hacked through the feeds then used a hiab to take it for weigh in.

So even if it's bolted down and has 9Kva running through it, it still goes walkies lol
