first of all, my engine packed in on the tuesday leading up to PV, with no option i took engine out, i then had to use a C14SE block and F15 box, bolt mt SR head and carbs on then put the morphed lump back in the car... it ran sweet. it was now friday, i still had to repair my GSi bumper and respray the new rear arch pannels!!

Sat was a busy day, finnishing of mine and my brothers cars but we managed to get everything done. on sunday morning we all wanted to set off at 3.30am to beat all traffic...we woke up late lol lol then my brother had only pulled out of our street when his altenator packed in and without any spare he decided to stay and try to fix it, i however carried on.

i met up with a mate and soon we were making up time on the M6 as we had 190miles to go!!! soon after got a phone call, my brother wouldnt be coming, he couldnt get hold of an altenator:cry:

we made it down the M6 and M1 no problems, however, nova syndrome struck on the A45... my altenator bottom pulley sheared the key way off and kept slipping round. with limmited tools i managed to sort it and we made it, only half an hour later than we wanted.

i parked up o the vauxhall only carpark just behind you guys, then took some pics of my car:
