Since the change to PNG (very impressed btw) i can't stay signed in. Im running ZoneAlarm Pro and when i turn it off, i stay signed in, so i added www.pngclub.com (http://www.pngclub.com) to my allowed and trusted list and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

The switch to PNG makes no difference. Its only the graphics at the top that are any different - and the extra news, club and nova pages.

Ash, maybe ZoneAlarm is trying to tell you something lol

I don't like ZA, it was a pain in the rint when my dad had it on his PC. Swapped to Outpost which was better, but now I just let the router's built in firewall do its thing.

Could be cookie problem yeah, thats the only other diffence i oculd think of - being cookies for pngclub.com rather than novaload.net

remember me doesnt work for me - never has since the upgrade to the new forum setup. I dont care - its more secure.

sorted now, think it was a cookie thing (choc-chip) causing the problem.

I dont mind ZA, but i've only ever used ZA or Norton and Norton is evil

I seem to be having issues staying logged in but I think its the computer I'm using.... or maybe I'm just spending too much time reading the paper in between posts.

Yea will be related to cookies/sessions to do with the domain name change as per Razorjacks comment.

Out of interest what did you do to fix it?

Same thing happened to Dan on the night of the switch. Worked fine the next day though.

right i just noticed that the site knows im online, but i can't post and it still asks me to sign in. Any other ideas?

The currently active users display at the bottom of the page is actually representing those users who have been active in the last few minutes - if you logout it will show that you're still online for a few minutes.

However, if you come in from work, get to novaload and see that you're logged out, and it still shows you're online - i dunno why that would be lol
