Hi All,
Fitting a brake balance valve to my nova as the rears drums keep locking out on the circuit - as too light at back stripped out etc...
The way I was going to do it was blank off one of the rear outputs on the master cylinder, run single line to the balance valve (tilton lever type) then from there to a T-Piece and then to the rear drums.
Do I remove the existing compensator valve (the hex type tube which sits in between the rear brake line and the master cylinder) as the tilton valve already biases by 57% when its off then has 7 points of reduction which reduces the effort to the back ever more..
Have been reading on here (searched) that people have been having problems when they remove the compensator - but that was with discs...
