LAdz/Laydees,

I once remember someone showing me an adjustable pressure fuel pump [out of tank electric for injection motors]. Now i need a fuel pump for me 1.8 16valver and can't seem to find where I saw them damn thing. Any ideas anyone? If not any body got a decent fuel pump, possibly of a 1.8i or 2.0i vauxhall.

a standard GTE or GSI one should be good enough. If your worried the pressure wouldn't be high enough, just fit a FSE boost valve. The standard GTE runs with 1.5 Bar fuel pressure, should be high enough i would have thought.

Yeah but the fuel pump is essential. I initially put a gsi pump on and it is now buzzing like mad and very tempremental. I want a new pump [or newish] that will give good pressure. I might go turbo next year, hence if the pressure is variable i can always turn it up! Besides buying a pump and a boost valve will work out more expensive.

the external gte/gsi pump is the same as the cav/astra/cally 2.0 16v one... the only pumps that need uprating are the 1.2i/1.4spi ones
