Clive @ custom solutions is making these dandy washer bottle thingy's. I was looking at ordering one myself but as luck would havee it I miraculously forund a spec-r version local very cheap. HOWEVER, I HAVE CONTINUED TO COMMUNICATE WITH CLIVE WITH REGARD TO SOME OTHER STUFF and I'm trying to get him to do a group deal

He's gonna get back to me with prices, he also does brake reservoir covers and header tanks. He's also (possibly) making some strut braces for XE-powered nova's (only fearless ones usually fit and are unavailable nowadays!)

I've had some little bits off clive, and they're as good quality as spec-r or bailey stuff..

Anybody GENUINELY interested, please put your details on here, but I will expect deposits of ?20 per item.

current prices are ?90 for the washer bootle, ?25 for the brake res cover so they'll still be expensive.

Keith, more likely to be this one than the fearless one, because of the bends.

As for the strut brace as long as they go over the fuel rail and not round the back of the inlet or over the turbo inlet cover then I'm in as well.

To be totally honest my prices are pretty close to the knuckle already, but could quite possibly do brake res covers AND the caps at a good price, the cap covers are an absolute pig to make and any potential customer interested in these is going to have to pay a lot of cash for "not a lot of item" BUT if I were to make a good quantity of brake res cap covers up i.e. 10 or more then I could knock the price right down on these, BUT could not reduce the price on the brake res covers by more than a ?2.00.

Washer bottles, I was wary as hell about charging to much for these, as there is in my mind a price I would be prepared to pay for something like this, and due to the production time and expense of materials I pretty much went over the original figure I had in mind, and the rock bottom price I would dare sell these for would be ?84.00 regardless of quantity, I just cannot do them any cheaper I'm afraid. And the same goes for the postage and packing, I only dare reduce this by ?1.00 to ?5.00 as I do take care parcelling up customers work as I have to ensure it is received in the same condition that it leaves me.

Header Tanks
Now I could quite possibly do a good deal on these, as I did have some good prices on the threaded collars that are needed on the tanks for the Vauxhall pressure cap, and could possibly produce a nice stainless engraved cap to cover the plastic pressure cap.
It would however be with Header tanks (due to the way I would make them) where a lot of time would be saved and could bring the cost right down. Current line of thinking is that a basic header tank for the Nova would be somewhere in the region of ?130+ but if bought in a group buy of 5 or more this could come down to around the ?110 mark.
I can't be more specific just yet as I need to check on prices on the Threaded Collars for the pressure caps and the price of the hose connections.
I can produce these aforementioned items myself, but would be quicker and cheaper to buy them made by someone else, and due to the 100% increase in stainless Steel prices since this time last year i do need to check on items i would need before committing to a price.

The items that could affect individual prices on any header tanks would be, amount of hose connections, any required engraving on the side of the tank or top, and if a stainless cover were to be required for the pressure cap.

Anyway Rick I shall leave that with you, and I shall get some prices in for the hose connections and threaded collars over the next few days and I'll get back to you with a definitive price on the header tanks.
