what kind of tuning options are there available for the 2.5 v6 engines?

i was thinging of:
2.5 head
3lcams
3l throtle body
3l bottem end
lightend flywheel
full straight through stainless exhaust

think about big bhp but no turbo

any help would be great:thumb:

you can have all the bhp in the world, but with an engine the weight of that, why bother lol

them mods would bring arround the 200bhp mark!

200 bhp sounds good too me

nitrous is also on the cards when ive got the engine in the car etc
but would a supercharger fit in a nova bay?(im skint neways so it would be ages before id think about a supercharger)

theres something about bolting the 3l bottom end to the 2.5L tops, something to do with the dip stick!

Whats wrong with the 3.0 engine? You've basically built one in that spec bar the head. IIRC they have 210bhp out the box, then strap on the nitrous for a cheap but large increase in power.

not sure the 3l will fit as easy? somthing to look at realy.

also if im putting lightend flywheel on and then planning somesort of tb's and lightend and balnced bottom end..would this not make the engine almost the same wieght as the xe? as the tb's shouldnt wiegh as much as the standard inlet etc.

o and one more thing..
i know you can fit a xe flywheel and clutch on the v6's so should i be able to fit a lightend xe one on? as im guessing they would be even lighter than a v6 lightend one

the V6 is considered a "small block" engine as the bottom end is fairly small bar the fact its Vee'd up lol The 2.5 and 3.0 blocks arent any differnt from the outside iirc.
