digi dash help urgently

if you take apart a digi dash.. will it not work if you put it back together? as ive got a curved rev counter but hav a tick sort one in my spares pile.. i just want to swap the rev counter

and what bulb goes in the middle of the dash? its smaller than all the rest.. is it a small bulb from the nova standard clocks?

You cant swap the rev counters, as they soldered to the main PCB board. Unless your changing the whole thing.

The middle hole doesn't have a bulb in.

also.. where does the transducer go into as mine just has 3 wires coming off it?

Screws to top of gearbox, black wire to ign live, brown wire to earth, blue/red to the dash plug.

im confised as theyve been snipped at some point and joined to 1 black wire

Aye, just seems like someones extended the wires.
Can you see the colour of the wires where they go into the transducer? Or are they the same colour there too?

same colour, theyve been soldered on aswell.. asif the old ones have fallen out

so how do i find what ones are what? and where do all the wires go? eg live earth etc

The problem is he's missing the plug and so all the wires are soldered directly to the pin on the part that screws in to the gearbox.
