Distributor plug

Just got a new loom for my E16SE, it all seems to connect properly apart from the plug under the distributor. The old loom seems to have the correct plug soldered on instead, is this acceptable to do?

So what's wrong, and what needs changing? Is it okay to change the plug over?

I dont think that first plug will fit the dizzy Iain, well it probably would, but the clip wouldn't secure it?

You could cut and solder it, try and not remove much of the wiring casing tho as its a shielded.
