You know........that pink coloured one with a 2.1 16v with twin 45's in redline Nov 2001 and in a Png mag.

Does anyone know what sort of wiring he is using for the dizzy/coil. I have fitted the same dizzy (Astra GTe 8v) to mine, but don't know how I should wire it up. I've tryed lots of things.......but to no avail! :(

I am thinking that maybe using the wiring from the 1.4sr is the way to go......but on the 1.4sr there are only 2 wires (+ve and earth) coming out of the dizzy, whereas with the astra dizzy, there are 3 (+ve, -ve and earth)!

Any help welcome.

at a guess id say u just need to run a wire from the earth terminal to the earth point on the car?? then connect the other wires up as normal. im probably wrong cos i neva had 2 do it b4 but thats wot common sense would tell me 2 try, give it go
