number plate lights

did the obvious thing an 18yr old does with his first nova sri, got the boot smoothed, looking back i dont know why, but i didnt think it through i now have my number plate double sided taped to my boot, i was wondering if theres any way to put it on the bumper in the corner and hook up a new number plate light, ive seen some going around that look like upturned washer jets, dont know where id find them or anything, any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance, sorry about the wall of text

A few well positioned LEDs should do the trick. The "upside down washer jets" you've seen probably are just that - some people buy the LED washer jets and wire them up as plate lights.

You can buy a bumper recess for the numberplate from www.quadconversions.com or butcher one from a 306.

i made my own recess out of fibreglass..then used two LED numberplate lights from an R1 or such like..bit pricey but worth it... i'll try dig out some pics!

What you should do is buy my number plate light bolts, kill two birds with one stone! They bolt your number plate to the bumper and have lights built into the head of the bolt. Its completley legal went thorough numerous MOT's on my car with no probs.

If you look on this pic the two bolts you see on the plate are the lights. PM if your interested and I will get you some better pics.
