Next month a rebuilt GTE engine will be going in to my car in favour of the originall gte. It will be running twin 40 webbers, Shrick 290 degree cam and a byldenstein (Spl) B+ head. A Facet red top fuel pump, and i think that is it.

I was wondering which gear box to use. I have at my disposal a new/recon turbo diesel box, and my original gte box.

Also what bhp should i be producing from this set up, and what times should i expect?

Cheers Paul :D

Go for the GTE CR box, much more fun for driving. Only go for the diesel box if you plan to be a motorway cruiser.

I'm using a sebring 4branch and system.

What would be the difference in acelleration betweenthe gear boxes, and top end?

Also would the gearbox be o.k for the power?
