Please please please can people put down suppliers of uprated engine parts.

I'm in need of heavy duty main and big end bearings preferably so any rally/motorsport part suppliers would be very useful as I need to order asap.

erm well erm do you NEED HD bearings? i mean its not like they should ever see any loading anyway!

Do you think honestly they need to be HD?

Bear in mind in a year or so I'm planning to turbo the engine so just wanted to do this once and the idea of everything being as strong as possible sounds a better idea.

It'd suit me as I could get normal ones from my local MF

do you understand how crank bearings work? They are non contact that float on a film of high rpessure oil...... good quality std ones will do fine imho. EVEN for a turbo engine.

Ok I thought with the increased load on the bottom end, the HD bearings would be more suitable and last longer.

Bearings are been delivered for me tomorrow afternoon so I can see a night shift tomorrow :)

ACL are lead/copper ones, SBD sell them but they didn't have the big ends I needed.
