2.0l conversion

Is there anyone with a garage that could drop an XE in my 1.0l nova near the manchester area?? I have non ov the parts needed. my budget around ?2500. cheers :thumb:

Also what engine would i be recomended to use? the 8v or the 16v. Which one is better to tune? Any downsides to either? And how much would a decent example set me back?? :confused:

16v are better, they are 200-450ish

If you fit the valver, you probably wont need to tune it for a while. Pretty dramatic change from a 1.0 litre.

In the meantime sort the brakes, suspension & generally fettle the car to make the most of the engine.

Do you want a fast road spec or track day type car?

afm
induction pipe and kit
engine mount kit
something to lower your drivers side engine mount with
22 spline shafts
cav inner cvs
gsi radiator
injection fuel lines
injection fuel tank
16valve brakes and calipers atleast
exhaust manifold
chassis plating kit if\you need it.
any other welding work that might need done.
coolants
oil
filters
any gaskets.


its a big list so it may be worth gettin some of the stuff first then asking someone to do it with what money you may have left or save and add a bit more to it.. its quite expensive to buy all that stuff unless you manage to get some of it at a mega of a steal price
