View Full Version : BHP per tonne
Does anyone know how to work out the BHP per tonne??
Cheers
(bhp of car/Weight of car)*1000
Try this calculator (http://www.letstorquebhp.com/calculator.asp)
Just in case your wondering why on the calculator that iainel has used you get different figures for bhp/ton. Its because they use a long ton(1016kg) and my little formula uses a metric ton(1000kg).

long ton depends on your perspective. for the yanks, a short ton is 1000kg lol and our long ton is just their regular measure. Very odd. Typical yank mentalness.
