hi folks, i'm simon, live in chesterfield and i'm a mechanic.
been into vauxhalls most of my driving life(11 years), had 2 astra's(mk1 and mk2), 2 cav's and driven nova's an corsa's.
i own a merc 190e at the min but i'm wanting a secound car while mine comes off the road for a bit of work on it, and i always wanted a nova or corsa so i though i would come to them who know them best.


oh btw has anyone got a cheap(under ?100) nova with a little t+t on for me to get to PVS this sunday as i'll feal odd turning up in a merc lol, the last one i went to was 2 years ago and i had my cav then:D

anyway don't want to bore you on my first post so i'll end it here

Hi, any pics of the Merc ? Is it pimped out ? lolit's semi pimped at the min, just done a 40mm drop on it, and i'm just about to take and redo the rear box and tidy up some work i did a few weeks back, need the rear arches doing though:mad:
has a sony head unit with multi changer,6x9's in the front doors and on rear shelf, twin screen dvd system, did have a sub but i popped the amp running to many spl cd'slol

Or am I chatting crap?the 190's like mine had a 2.5l 16v cossy engine, really nice engine, very rarely break or go wrong, saying that all 190 engine seem to go on for ever, mines 23 years old and a 136,000mile and it's only just had a head gasket and that didn't need changing i was getting some other head stuff done

Welcome to the site, i'm sure you'll be able to find a cheap Nova on here sometime or other! I've been looking at the W201 190E Mercs, there seem to be a fair few 2.0 manuals about, is there anything you need to look out for on them if you were buying another? And what is it like to drive?
