My clutch is stuck on, what's the best plan of action please?
Remove gearbox and un-stick it the hard way?

could be the clutch operating arm thats seized up. best way is probably to take the box out and clean the arm up and grease it all up etc.
Does the operating arm move when you press the clutch?
I bet the clutch friction plate has rusted to the fly.

Yes the arm moves. If I've got to take the box off then I'll be refitting my old box and clutch methinks.
Been sat a while has it? lol
Disc stuck to fly most likely.
Wack the car in 4th/5th, handbrake full on, clutch pedal down, and turn the engine over, that should free it.
First of all, take the access panel off the bottom of the box, and have a look inside to make sure theres actually a release bearing fitted,Lol.

7 Years for my Nova lol. Worst thing that happened was split fuel hoses to fuel pump.
Phew, lucky nothing worse happened
PS. Think LLTN plan is sound quickest way probably

The sticking it in 4th, pressing the clutch and starting it trick didn't work :(. I'll be taking the gearbox off and doing it that way as soon as I get chance.
Sounds like its proper stuck :(

did the release bearing go through the pressure plate or did the bearing just come off the arm?
