Novaload rolling road day

Right as you might already know we now have fully working rolling road at JNC. I have spent the last few days moving everything out the unit to steam clean and paint the floor, it already looking 100 times better than before with the inch thick layer of crap it on. All we have to do now is put a second coat of paint on tomorrow and finish off painting the ramps and rollers so that they all match. As such I am now happy with the way it?s looking and want to gauge interest in doing a novaload rolling road day.

It will more than likely take place on a Sunday, this is due to the fact that it gets very busy on another day down the yard and its impossible to find anywhere to park and if it does take place will be in a couple of months time. Throw some dates about if you want.

For about 20 cars your looking about ?30 each an includes two runs and a print out as well if any more are to come then the price might come down some.

Also for the nerds amongst you the rollers are 20 inch diameter (most are a girly 8 inch lol ), it will read up to 800bhp so don?t bring anything with anything more and can do 180mph. Ive already done 167mph an got quite scared doing so lol.

I personally dont have any experience in tuning carbs, however I will be setting up a 2lt nova on bike carbs soon no doubt. Have played with a mk1 golf on twin 40s but wouldnt say I was profcient in setting up carbs at this current moment in time. Same with mapping at the moment, havent had enough play time with our own cars yet to be happy to do it at the moment. Wont be too long though.

Right sorry for the delay in getting back with regards to the rolling road, been on holiday. 29th of july is actually the date of TOTB an hence i wll be taking part in that, so im now going to say 12th August (as 5th will be USC). Not heard anything back from Total vauxhall so i say not sure if they will be attending or not now.

Right thought I would bump this to remind people. The rollers are currently having some new bits fitted to them but will be back up an working again a long time before the 12th. Also Total Vauxhall are all booked up for the rest of the year so they wont be coming along im afraid.

Yes update the list, need to know who to expect lol. At this current moment in time the rollers are under reading, mine made only 280 on gas since weve had it all apart. But its just a matter of calibrating them up again, all good fun.
