its quite obviously a foriegn version of a six pin recirculating double ohm foo foo valve. there pretty rare,but as you can see pretty impressive

Impressive, and the comment is right, if you adjust the frame rate to match the RPM of the chopper exactly, thats exactly how it will look!

The comment is wrong since slowing a film down after videoing it would make little difference.

I reckon the person who filmed it adjusted the shutter speed of their camera and then recorded it to make the blades appear to stay still. I've done it myself.

I've found some cracking videos this evening but haven't posted them since I would fill muppet corner. But if your bored look up 'the distracting interview' :D

Thats what i meant, the FPS was adjusted to match the rotors.

That vids on quite a few forums, and some of the comments are classic. Someone said that the pilot shut the blades down and was gliding on the 'little wings'

yeah you can see the blades "flexing" to take the load when it files at the camera which means they are doing the work. ous the rotor head is moving with its manouvers :D
