Never ceases to amaze me... my sister is currently in the final stages of growing me a nephew to provide me with an excuse to go to the zoo/seaside etc for many years to come.

She's got a few weeks to go, and i've already got a photo of him.

its not really... its a pic of just below her belly button - or where her belly button used to be at least lol Its now about 12 inches further forward.

Tilt your head right, you should be able to see it.

You can actually get a scan done in 3D!!!

I can probably figure out where his body starts/ends and the amniotic fluid starts lol

actually the scans are done in 4D :D
because they use time as well as images taken from different angles, and then the computer uses all the collected data to create a 3D image from it all. Those scans are awesome, but cost loads, and if you happen to have a lot of fluid that day, you cant see too much.

The cost is ridiculous IMO!

But it's a once in a life time thing if you only have one child, i don't want another lol

Stu, it's a female thing when it comes to baby scans, maternal instict and all that b*llocks lol

meh. i could see more clearly what the baby was than my other half could lol

It's nothing to do with maternal instinct, its just object/shape recognition.
