2l 16v fitting?

just a quiry but ive been reading the pvd 16v conversion guide the 1 with mounts, driveshafts, hubs, lowered brackets etc etc for ?495. is this stuff ne good or are the car quip mounts better if they are y are they?! cheerz lads

Sure the pvd kit will be more than up too the job. And you get the non-tapered driveshafts too!

PVD kit is shit the engine mounts dont set the engine up in a way i would class as satisfactory. You would be better off getting the Carquip mounts and getting the drive shafts from somewhere else. Rick

Shorley the driveshafts would be fine though.

I must say though, that the Carquip mount kit is "The Daddy" though.

What is the point wasting money on the kit for the driveshafts? John Hilton has a set of tapered driveshafts for sale due to him scrapping his 2ltr project. Rick

nice one lads! in that case do u hav car quips number as i had a look today and cant seem to see it. only reason for the pvd is i thought as its a package it works out a lot better value then say buying the quip mount n all else seperate but i will go for the car quip 1s how much ?? r they bout 120?

carquip were ?50+del+vat but i think they are ?20 more now..... rick should know cause he bought a set not long ago

the tapered shafts are fine for a std engine....and u you may never break them and if u do then u upgrade...tapered ones are ?100ish 2nd hand

hi i have a nova GSi and im going to be putting a 2l 16v in it but i need wiring diagrams for the conversion any help would be appriciated thanx
