Anybody me tell me what choke sizes and jet sizes they are using for their weber 45s?

unless you are intending on running silly big revs on a fully blown competition engine twin 45's are a waste, but can be choked down to a similar spec to a twin 40 spec, which is generally more than ample for the breathing capacity the 1600 8v requires.

As regards the jets and choke sizes, a rolling road will give you that as every engine will require a slightly different combination to suit the modifications done to them. For a 'rough' guide if its just to get it running to drive to a rolling road tuners then use the search function on here and there has been plenty covered on this subject :thumb:

at what sort of spec on a 1600 would you need 45's?

well myself and jim run well within the range of the twin 40's and our engines are not what i would call 'competition spec' if thats any guide lol lol

tbh id only bother fitting 45's if i happened to have them hiding in the shed lol. russ used them on his 1.6 8V but that was properly scary spec.
