Fecked calipers

Pistons arnt retracting back into the caliper and causes them to lock on IIRC

do you have drums on back or discs?

If theyre drums, you need to service them. New drums, shoes and a fitting kit.

If the handbrake is off and the rears are still sticking, chances are its a faulty (rusty) wheel cylinder. The piston will probably be corroded, preventing it from retracting properly. Does it continue to drag or is it just an initial sticking problem?

/\/\ Aye.

Sounds like knackered cylinder(s). Strip down & service. JOY!

new cylinders are about ?10 MAX from autovaux.

shouldnt cost much more than ?80-100 to completely refurb the entire rear beam and have minty brakes again

Either cylinders or a spring has come off the shoes which pull them back in on release. Could be anything really, hense why i sugested a full rebuild.
