Seen this done on another site and thought it would be a good idea.
A4 spec sheet, with your NL username etc on.
And details on your cars spec, future plans etc.

I have an example somewhere from a few years back, could possibly just re-use that.

Good idea?

Maybe we can put bhp (filter/zorst makes an xe 190bhp)
Qtr mile 13 sec tsd xe
0-60 measured on my mates stop watch 5.2 sec

And a list of cars you've seen off. "I beat a veyron from the lights down saarfend last week"

Only kidding, sounds a good idea, except putting your name on there

Mike
23-05-07, 08:09 PM
yeah i wont be putting my real name on there, i think ill just put "Mike"

Good plan!

25-05-07, 04:08 PM
Also - not to be picky, but i believe Tahoma is a windows only font? would it be ok for non windows people to use another sans-serif font, are are they not allowed to play? lol

Kickingriffin
25-05-07, 04:10 PM
I think thats a good idea, its not fair though as im not on your stand..... :o(

"list of parts available to the first pikey who reads this piece of paper on my window while i am not near my car"

Good plan!

Im guesing the cars at most risk are the ones out in the public car parks, not the ones on the club stands.

wisewood
25-05-07, 04:26 PM
Depends which novaload pikeys are going i suppose.

craig green
25-05-07, 04:27 PM
Pikeys dont go to PV... do they?

I thought they'd be busy tarmacing the road outside!

Lee
25-05-07, 04:28 PM
After seeing the state of that poor scooby after Trax, i will never leave a desirable car in a public car park at a show again!

Its one thing to steal some wheels, but the turbo, inlet and tail lights as well? lol

Adam
25-05-07, 04:30 PM
Depends which novaload pikeys are going i suppose.
Id seriously doubt the stand will be completely empty, giving some pikey enough time jack a car up and unbolt the wheels etc?? :D

Surely there will be people on the stand all day, at random times....

I haven't got a clue about tahoma font, it just looked alrate when i randomly clicked it lol ... And anyway, how many people dont actually use Windows? ;)

craig green
25-05-07, 04:32 PM
I use the door where possible!

Adam
25-05-07, 04:46 PM
lol about 20% of the global population.
Meaning the other 80% use "normal" Windows ;)
So the fonts for the majority.

Iain, we've had this convo before, install windows! Geek! :plol

wisewood
25-05-07, 04:48 PM
a proper geek would make his own OS.

don't be ghey. Use times new roman. lol

Iain
25-05-07, 04:49 PM

I have no idea what that means lol

Adam change the font you big homo, stop discriminating.

Adam
25-05-07, 04:50 PM
Hmmm.
Times new roman sucks.

Does your pikey OS support Arial?

If so, EVERYONE use arial lol

Lee
25-05-07, 04:52 PM
Thats so old school lol

Iain
25-05-07, 04:54 PM
Does your pikey OS support Arial?

I believe Arial is a Microsoft font too. lol However I have an MS fonts pack installed which seems to contain Arial so that's fine with me. :D

wisewood
25-05-07, 04:59 PM
Times New Roman (and all serif fonts for that matter) look better in print than sans-serif fonts. They do not suck. So i guess they blow.

Adam
25-05-07, 05:08 PM
Jeeeeeeees

Ok, everyone use Times New Roman

lol

Iain
25-05-07, 05:12 PM
I don't like Times New Roman; I prefer sans-serif fonts.

bump
25-05-07, 05:13 PM
Serif fonts are harder to read for the Dyslexic population. How about sharpening the chisels and geting some stone out?

ste porter
25-05-07, 06:13 PM

Heres a print screen of mine if anyone wants see what they'll look like.
I used Times New Roman,Lol, and font size 15, just because 14 looked a bit small, and 16 made it go onto 2 pages.
Bullet points would look more organised imo, but would take up a lot of space, probably 2/3pages.

Ive removed the "ICE" section from mine, mainly because i dont have any, may sling the headunit in tho for the drive to pv.

MyNovaSr
25-05-07, 09:09 PM
I just finished mine :) . Removed "ICE" too and intergrated it into the "interiors" section.

gunna stick mine under bonnet as it will be up when im around and in window when im not. lol not a very trusting person :p
