elecy windows?

i fancy putting electric wondows in my nova. i have got the motors and the glass etc from an sx and i have got the centre console with the switches.

what else do i need to do to make them work?

what wires do i need to run etc?

please give me some good easy to understand instructions please. thanks

ah, just found this from another topic.


leccy windows are just as easy, you mountthe switches in th ecentre console, then run the 2 'legs' of the loom under the carpets and into the doors, these 2 wires reach the fuse box and again need connecting,

red = switched live (only live while te ignition is on)
black = earth

but what do you mean by two legs? please tell me where to join the wires etc.. (in the fuse box?)

the loom has a plug on it to plug in but my plug had been cut off so it just left 2 wires

so, if i fit the motors, and the centre console with the switches what wires do i need to run?

i am thinking a ignition live going to the switches then out to the motors, and an earth from somewhere? please tell me how to do the wiring if possible.
