Final drop the engine in car, but got a couple of problems.

To start box is fouling the tie bar, what to do?? was going to cut the offending piece of metal off, it looks not very important, right or wrong?

Also there is a greeny blue ish plug with 4 pins in it, just before the ECU plug, what`s it for?? and what do i do with it..

help on the above would be very nice..

you can get new fastening for the front tie bars which should sort the probs as for the green/blue plug ask ste.

If your going to cut off that lug, be very careful not to take it back too far. I buggered a box doing that! You could also make up some brackets to lower the bar down aswell.

Can't think where that plug was.. Does it have a green wire going into it, or nearby as that is the rev counter wire (don't think the others are important).

you said you "buggered a box doing that", have still got the box as i need a 5th gear selector for a F20??
