boot solenoid wiring

Does ne1 no how 2 wire a solenoid 2 the boot? iv been told about relays and switches, unfortunatly i aint a sparky so i aint got a clue thanx 4 ne help:D

yer u use a relay if ya running it off a alarm. fuse if not

I tried the perpetualbliss but it only says how 2 install it and not wire it up i wana keep the wash/wipe, and just de-lock and flush it, thanx neway, but more info needed thanx again :-/

yea mate,you want a slave solenoid so thats its only got the 2wires coming out,master has 5,find out which way around you need them to operate the catch then earth one in the solenoid area to save running it to the dash or batt then trail the single wire and i picked up mine were the fag lighter is,removed it and fitted a push to make button. i took my feed from the fag lighters ignition live which already is fused and is only live once ignition is on.
