ok ..managed to replace one bush (inner control arm ) but there is one retaining bolt that wont budge on the other side so I'm gonna have to get the rest done professionally. cheers lads

i have heard shears and maybe a chainsaw for the really stubborn ones

jeeezuss christ mickey!! I just got it..duh! sorry mate erm... ha ha ha. I thought using chainsaws and shears was a tad drastic!
