electric window switches

right ive just bought sum power window motors out of a nova and been down the scrappy n got 2 illuminated ford modeo switches, now i jst need to wire them up, harder than it sounds i think, weve been trying all weekend and no luck, right this is were it gets hard because ive got 2 passenger side ones because i didnt like the double 1 in the drivers door (i do have this double switch if i need 2 use it) single switch 1 has 7 wires, a thin black wire, a big yellow and green stripe, a big blue/terquise and white stripe, medium white with blue stripe, thin orange with blue stripe, big white with blue stripe and lastly a yellow with a green stripe. the 2nd switch has 6 wires consisting of: a big white with a green stripe, medium yellow, small black, big yellow with green stripe, big brown with white stripe and a medium size white. now what i need to know is how the f**k do i wire this up???? im going mad and this would be the final bit of my doorcard builds with the pods in and usual goodies (will post pics)do i need any other parts?? any help would be great because without these the interior looks pants lol

AFAIK Ford use a totally different system to Vauxhall - constant live or something, it's called. I doubt you'll be able to wire them up properly, so it'll be easier to use Nova (or any early '90's Vauxhall, eg, Mk3 Astra) switches. These are illuminated anyway.

tryed this myself. give up now and just fit mrk 2 nova ones

ok but im not goin 2 give up this easy, this is guna b the best nova interior uve ever seen trust me. probs will end up goin 4 the nova 1s tho lol

u will have to use the drivers double one im afraid mate to figure it out.

if you buy a mondeo window motor for cheap, get a voltmeter, an run a few tests u will be able to par up the right wires with each one. the different colours on each switches will either be because they are on different cars or they run in seaprate circuits but if you can see the pins on the underside of the switch u will be able to match up the right wires to match up both passenger side switches
