Took the Monterey off road to test the 4WD today. Its come back with a few (read lots) new scratches, but it was fun and the 4WD is working. So all good news. Chris gsi showed me the way around and also showed me just how good the Isuzu Trooper is off road:D

On the way. At this point the lanes where nice and wide.

Then we got to the mud pools

Chris then took me up a river, then up and over some HUGE banks. Note his tyres!!:eek:

We parked them up for a while and walked around.

I we didn;t take any more photos of the narrow lanes etc. But decided that on the way home they needed a bit of a wash.

ive taken an izuzu off road before and was also very suprised at how well it did. it is great fun and very addictive

Nope, although it looks like we should have. It just ploughs through it, I was shocked at how deep the water was when I seen the photo!!:eek:

It was great fun Chris and all the scratches have polished out.....well not completly but enugh so that you don't notice them:D

I just put the vynal XBones on the spare wheel as welllol I will upload a piccy in a mo, its funny

One IS an Isuzu Trooper and the other is a LWD Isuzu Trooper in drag AKA wearing Vauxhall badges (Same vehicle just rebadged and sold as a vaux).

Yeah I go to some rallies in an Isuzu Trooper (Irmscher Version) You can really throw it about and the back end steps out too - Quite fun

And quite good off-road as well

Only thing is the Vxl Monterey's round here go for silly money!!
