I need a new tank for my 1.0l (mk2) and cant seem to get a new one for a while, so i cant use my car

My question is, my friends got a 1.4 mk2 sitting which was crashed, would the petrol tank fit, or is it a different size.

Are they interchangable ?

yup as far as i know only differencei s the return pipe on the 1.4, so just puit a piece of tube on it, and block the tube, no problems

Thanks for the help, i did manage to get a new one, though it is one whith the two pipes running to it so i will need to block the other hole off.

The guy also says that there has been a manufacturing problem with the proper tank for my car and that you cant get one till Febuary.
