I've got a standard 1.6 Vetra Engine running on R1 carbs would a 1.4SR camshaft give me any improvments? I've had it rolling roaded at 95bhp & 95ft/lb torque?
A C16SE should be 100ish bhp as standard.

Its not a nova engine, its from a vectra 75bhp standard think the heads from a multipoint cause of the round heads but like i said will the camshaft change anything?
It won't be a C16SE. The C16SE is a 100hp dispack'd , cat'd version of the E16SE. It was found in late Nova GSi's
Regardless of what it is, I'd think about an aftermarket camshaft with more duration/lift. A kent or Piper for example. Will give you better gains combined with the R1 Carbs.
What is it? a 8v?
Multipoint 1.6 8vs are 100hp as std.
