hi, i was wondering if anyone could help. ive seen some wheels i like but wolfrace only make them in a et40 offset.ive heard its best to stick to et45 or et49 on novas.i was just wondering what difference it would make and what are the pros/cons of et40?

Et 40's won't be anywhere near offset enuff esp. if you get bigger wheels. They will in effect stick out further towards the lips and be more likely to catch and rub. Thats not to say you couldn't make them fit but it would require a lot more work to the lips and generally cause a lot more grief. If you get a lot of scrubbage its a pain - it damages the tyres, it rubs the paint off around the lips, it encourages rust etc. Everytime you go out on bumpy roads or with a car load or wotever its a constant irritation & you end up nancying about like some poof instead of enjoying having a rag around
