Got a couple lying around and I heard once on a krooooze forum that you can sell them for scrap but seeing as they contain precious metals http://www.fewmets.net/galleries/therianthrope/gollum.jpg lol
I hear they are worth a few bob, about 20 notes of the realm each?

IS this true? I rang the local place that 'disposes' of my unwanted donor cars and he spoke like I was on crack TBH

Contains Platinum, Palladium and Rhondium apaprently. Most will probably be removed from scrap cars, and recycled - the metal can be extracted, but I would hazard a guess that the manufacturers re-use it to make more cats.

I get minnimum of ?50 for a cat and thats if its small, can see upto ?100 for BMW/VW ones.

my dad has to de-pollute cars all the time, and we take the "cats" off and weigh them in at the fragmentation yard... get about ?25 a cat... well worth it seen as they are that common

Just need to find the right place to take it too, scrap metal dealers don't want to know, even a sco-called vehicle recycling place near me :tard:
